Weight loss without paying out big bucks?
The weight loss industry is huge business and I am about to make myself really unpopular with the “big end of town!” Money is made out of YOU because you want to lose weight and if someone offers you the solution for $20 or $2000 and you don’t have to do it yourself, many people will pay for it!
As a result, people buy pre-packed food so the portion is controlled, meal replacement “shakes” full of artificial processed chemicals or put you on absurd diets so far removed from normal, healthy foods that when you get back to normality, you just go back to eating what you did before and the weight just stacks on again!!!
Of course, big business would not remain profitable if what they did actually keeps people light – they don’t give you the keys to keep the weight off and sometimes even discourage you from doing the important things. One company (and no franchise names mentioned) actually tells their participants not to increase their exercise. As result, the weight loss from the low calorie diet, results in muscle loss that occurs fast with associated weakness and feeling unwell. This is completely ludicrous from the health side…
So what is the real answer? It is REALLY SIMPLE – reduce your calories and increase your exercise. Think of your body like and car with fuel in and calories burnt from “running” your car. If you tilt the scales one way, you have too much fuel and it gets laid down as fat, if you burn off more calories that you put in, you WILL LOSE WEIGHT. Your body has no option – truly it is that simple.
“What about my slow metabolism? I am never able to lose weight!” Some cars run efficiently and some burn a lot of fuel – if your car is efficient and burns little fuel, tough luck bro! You just have to do more exercise and reduce your calories more. There are great ways of eating to reduce your calories and not feeling hungry and keys to how to exercise to successfully lose weight – I will discuss those in the next few weeks! You don’t need to pay big dollars to lose weight, but you DO need to make the decision and stick with the plan so that it works!
I guarantee that if you follow the plan about to be given in the next few weeks, not only will you lose weight, but you will not feel puckish all the time, have more energy, get through your day more easily, solve problems faster and have better sex! The gauntlet has been laid……
How to exercise for weight loss?
Last week I promised that if you followed this plan over the next few weeks, you would have better sex. So now you need start doing what it takes to gt all those great results I promised last week! This week is exercise…
It is very common for patients to see doctors saying “I am on a low calorie diet and exercising 1 hour 5 days a week and am not losing weight! Why is that doctor, as I might as well give up?”
Here is the tough love – there are only two possibilities. You are either still getting in too many calories or not exercising vigorously enough to burn off fat.
So how can you judge how much exercise to do? If you are serious about burning off fat from your body, you need to get your heart rate up to 200 minus your age. You will be huffing and puffing, unable to speak except a few words at a time, sweating, pounding chest, red face and know that you are alive (even though you feel close to death!)
If you have not been exercising regularly, you can’t get your heart rate this high in your first session but would need to build up to it gradually. Get advice from your GP if you have any health issues but your heart rate is the key.
What sort of exercise is best? It doesn’t matter really as long as it is aerobic and repetitive – fast walking, running, cycling, swimming, rowing or use a treadmill on a slope and go fast… Lifting weights in the gym with gaps between each set will build your muscles but not burn off fat.
If you do weights, keep the weights pathetically light and do lots of reps, activating your core and making all your muscles work together. Also it is best if you can vary the exercise you do to use different muscle groups each few days.
So how much exercise do you need? Any exercise is better than none but for weight loss if you can get your heart rate up to 200-your age for 20-45mins 5x /week, you will reap huge rewards in all areas of your life! You also continue to burn off extra calories for the rest of the day too.
Just a few interesting facts – research reveals that vigorous exercise results in better orgasms in women, and in men it improves “performance”. So what I want you all to do is to please test out this theory and lets have lots of letters to the editor to discuss the outcomes! At the same time you will all be losing weight, reducing your heart risks and you will be fit and fantastic partners – or lean, mean $&% machines!
How to eat for better sex!
The gauntlet was laid with the promise that if you followed this plan, you would have better sex! If you are on the plan, you are getting your heart rate to 200 minus your age and getting your “hot sexy” body from a few few years ago, back into “hot, sexy shape” with the ability to have “hot, sexy” sex! Hopefully the pounding of the pavements is resulting in better bouncing in the boudoir…
This week is about eating for better sex (and life)…
OK, tough love here – the answers are very simple! If you are not the shape and weight you want, you need to eat less calories or exercise more OR BOTH! No excuses, no “ifs” and “buts”, “suck it up Princess” as the rules of the Universe are not negotiable.
The KISS principle of eating (keep it simple) is to reduce portion size of everything you eat by 20%. Use a smaller plate and with this one act you will drop your calories by 20%! Too easy – but YOU have to stick to it….
The second easiest principle is to fill up on Vegies and choose lots of bright colours – they have high fibre and are full of anti-oxidants so reduce your bowel cancer risk, diabetes and heart attacks! Cut out the carbs (bread, potato, rice and pastas) and fatty foods that our society tends to use as the staple to fill up with!
Other Great Tricks :
Drink full glass of water before each meal (fills the stomach)
Eat slowly (allows your body to recognise it is full which takes 20 minutes!)
Exercise before meals (shrinks the stomach)
Eat breakfast (missing meals makes you store fat)
Have regular low cal snacks (you will be less hungry with this program too!)
Your body has no option but to lose weight if you do the two simple things - less calories and more exercise. But you need to get the exercise up to huffing, puffing, can’t speak ecstasy and then you will do the same thing in bed.
Get excited about the prospects of your “hot, sexy” shape that YOU WILL ACHIEVE and send us the stories about how your performance has improved. I’ll tell you mine, if you tell me yours!!!! Anonymous is fine too…..
